CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Longmont resident in the 2000 block of Spencer Street reported an incident of vandalism to her vehicle. The case status is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

BURGLARY

On Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at approximately 0650 hours, Longmont police responded to a burglary in progress in the area of 6th Avenue and Baker Street. An adult male attempted entry into a residence and once confronted, menaced the resident with a weapon. The adult male suspect fled on foot and was later apprehended without incident near 2nd Avenue and Emery Street.

AUTO THEFT

On Wednesday, February 21, 2019, officers took a report of an auto theft that occurred in the 900 block of 11th Avenue. There are no suspects and so this case is closed.

DUI

On Wednesday, 2/20/19, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the area of Boston Avenue and Hover Street in reference to a male who possibly shoplifted. An adult male was contacted and later arrested for active arrest warrants and DUI. This case is closed, cleared by arrest.

INFORMATION

On February 20, 2019, officers responded to the 1100 block of Colorado Avenue on the report of a suspicious situation. An adult male located a large quantity of counterfeit money outside of a business. An informational report was taken. This case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 02/19/19 at approximately 1550 hours, officers were dispatched to the area of Alpine Street and Cherrywood Drive regarding a physical domestic violence disturbances between a juvenile male and a juvenile female. Officers arrived on scene and attempted to speak with the parties involved, but both the juvenile male and juvenile female were uncooperative. Officers did not observe any injuries on either party. This case is closed.

BURGLARY

On Tuesday, February 20, 2019, Longmont police took a report of an attempted burglary and criminal mischief in the 400 block of Lashley Street. Two unidentified people are suspects. This case is closed.

VICIOUS DOG

A woman was bitten by a dog in the 300 block of Homestead Parkway. The bite did not break the skin. The dog was returned to the shelter it was adopted from.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Wednesday, 2/20/19, a report was taken in reference to a criminal mischief which occurred in the 1700 block of Duchess Drive. This case is closed as suspects are unknown.

DRUG VIOLATION

On Wednesday, 2/20/19, a juvenile female was contacted in the 600 block of East Mountain View Avenue in the possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The female was issued a summons into municipal court.

INFORMATION

On Wednesday, 2/20/19, Longmont police responded the parking lot near 8th Avenue and Coffman Street. An unoccupied parked vehicle rolled back into another unoccupied parked vehicle. No tickets issued due to no damage.

INJURY ACCIDENT

On February 20, 2019, Longmont officers responded to the 2900 block of Clover Basin Drive on the report of an injury accident. An adult female was given a summons to appear in court. This case is cleared.

SHOPLIFT

On February 20, 2019, Longmont officers responded to the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard on a call of shoplifting. One adult female and one juvenile female were issued summons for the theft. This case is cleared by arrest.
