THEFT

The employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 1600 block of Pace Street. This case is closed due to a lack of viable suspect information.

CRIM MISCHIEF IN PROGRESS

On 1/26/19, officers took a report of a possible criminal mischief that took place in the 900 block of Pratt Street. After an investigation, a suspect was identified. This case will remain open until the suspect is contacted or a warrant is obtained. This case is open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Saturday, January 26, 2019, Longmont police responded to a report of domestic violence in the 1300 block of Merl Place. A 46 year-old female reported a domestic violence related incident. This case is closed.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Friday 1/26/19, at approximately 0117 hours, police conducted a pedestrian contact in the 500 block 1st Avenue. An adult male was found to be wanted on warrant and in violation of a protection order. This case was cleared by arrest.

MISSING PERSON

On 1/26/19, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Stroh Place for a reported missing person of an adult male. The male was located safely. This case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On 1/26/19, Longmont officers responded to the 1300 block of Dogwood Lane in reference to an attempt to locate a male with a warrant for his arrest. This case was cleared by arrest.

INFORMATION

On Friday, January 25, 2019, at approximately 1500 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to contact a party by phone in reference to a resident of Longmont being associated with criminal activity in another state. Police contacted an adult male. This case is closed. This report for informational purposes only.

WARRANT ARREST

On January 25, 2019, Longmont police officers were patrolling in the 700 block of 9th Avenue. Officers observed an adult male in the area who they knew to have an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident. This case was closed by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont family was bitten by their dogs while trying to break up a dog fight. The dogs were quarantined at home.

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT

On January 25, 2019, the Longmont Police Department responded to a hit-and-run crash in the area of 15th Avenue and Emery Street. This case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 1/26/19, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a domestic incident on the 2200 block of Collyer Street involving two adult females. This case is under investigation.

OVERDOSE

On Saturday, January 26, 2019 at approximately 0923 hours, officers and the fire department were dispatched to the 1800 block of Emery Street due to an adult male who was not conscious and not breathing due to an overdose of Heroin. Narcan was administered to the male. He was transported to hospital and expected to make a full recovery.

TRAFFIC STOP

On Saturday, 1/26/19, at approximately 1043 hours, the Longmont Police Department attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic violations. The vehicle eluded police, but was later identified and the adult male driver turned himself in. This case was cleared by arrest.

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business reported a theft which occurred on 1/18/19. This case is open.

PROTECTION ORDER

On January 26, 2019, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 00 block of Empire Place in regards to a restraining order violation. A 24 year-old male was arrested for domestic violence related charges on a 21 year-old victim. This case was cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont male was bitten by his dog. The dog was surrendered and has been placed in quarantine.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Longmont resident reported criminal mischief in the 1400 block of Emery Court. This case was closed due to a lack of suspect information.

HARASSMENT

On January 26, 2019, Longmont police took a phone report of a adult male being harassed by his ex-girlfriend and her family. During the conversation, the male admitted to violating an existing restraining order. This case is open until a warrant can be obtained or the male is arrested.

SHOPLIFT

On Saturday, 1/26/19, Longmont police officers responded to the area of Ken Pratt Boulevard and County Line Road in reference to a theft. Officers were unable to identify a suspect. This case was closed due to a lack of leads.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Saturday, 1/26/19, Longmont police officers responded to the area of Neon Forest Circle and Kristy Court in reference to a possible domestic violence incident. An adult male and an adult female where contacted and the adult male was taken into custody without incident. This case was closed and cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On January 26, 2019, at approximately 1942 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 1000 block of 17th Avenue in reference to a domestic violence incident. An adult male was contacted and arrested.

DUI

On Saturday, 1/26/19, at approximately 2023 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded on a traffic crash at 5th Avenue and Coffman Street. One adult male was arrested for DUI without incident. This case was cleared by arrest.

LIQUOR LAW

On Saturday, 1/26/19, at approximately 2023 hours, the Longmont Police Department discovered a liquor law violation from the 500 block of Terry St. This case is open.

DUI

On Saturday, 1/26/19, Longmont police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Boston Avenue and River Road. An adult male was contacted and later arrested without incident for driving under the influence.

DRUG VIOLATION

On January 27, 2019, Longmont police officers responded to the 2200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard in reference to a disturbance. While investigating the disturbance, officers came into contact with an adult male. Through their investigation they located narcotics in the male's vehicle. He was taken into custody for a narcotics violation. This case was closed by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 1/27/19, at approximately 1756 hours, officers were dispatched to a call on an attempt to locate a wanted party in the 2200 block of Dexter Drive. The wanted party was contacted and taken into custody on the warrant and later transported to jail. This case was cleared by arrest.

DISTURBANCE

On 1/26/19, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a harassment that occurred in the 500 block of Martin Street involving two adult males. This case is closed.

CHILD

On 1/26/19, at approximately 0200 hours, Longmont police officers responded Children's Hospital in Aurora to investigate possible injuries to a child that had been transported there on 1/25/19. This case is still under investigation.

LITTERING

On Saturday, January 26, 2019, at approximately 1400 hours, officers responded to the 2000 block of Meadow Street for the report of illegal dumping. This case is closed.

TRAFFIC STOP

On January 26, 2019, Longmont police officers were patrolling in the 1500 block of Nelson Road. During this time they contacted an adult female riding a bicycle while intoxicated on Nelson Road. The female was contacted and issued a summons to appear for multiple offenses. This case was cleared by arrest/summons.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On 1/26/19, at approximately 2200 hours, Longmont police officers responded to the 1000 block of South Hover Street to make contact with a male who had made suicidal statements. The male was transported to the hospital to receive an evaluation and treatment.

BURGLARY

On Sunday, January 27, 2019, at approximately 0914 hours, officers took the report of a criminal mischief in the 900 block of Pratt Street. This case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On Sunday, January 27, 2019, officers were advised of an arrest warrant that was discovered from a male that was arrested the previous night. The male was already in custody. This case was cleared by arrest.

WELFARE CHECK

On January 27, 2019, at approximately 1301 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Rogers Road on the report of a suicidal party. An adult male was contacted and placed on a mental health hold.

SHOPLIFT

On January 27, 2019, Longmont officers were dispatched to a shoplifting in the 2500 block of Main Street. An adult male was seen taking items from the store. The male was contacted and a municipal summons was issued for theft. This case was cleared by arrest/summons.

SHOPLIFT

On 1/27/19, at approximately 1811 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to  2514 Main Street regarding a shoplift. A 22 year-old male was in custody by loss prevention. The male party was later issued a municipal summons for shoplifting and released on scene.

AUTO THEFT

On Sunday, January 27, 2019, Longmont police took a report of a stolen vehicle from the 3800 block of Pike Road. An adult female is suspect. This case is open.
