Longmont police report: June 3, 2020

THEFT

A Longmont, CO resident in the 1300 block of Armstrong Drive reported a theft of his license plate. There are no investigative leads.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, officers were conducting an extra patrol in the 1000 block of Coffman St when they noticed a suspicious incident. Two parties were contacted, one with active warrants. The party with warrants was arrested and transported to jail. Case is cleared by arrest.

SHOOTING

On 06/03/20 at approximately 0423 hours officers responded to the 1200 block of Hunter Ct for a shots fired call. While on scene officers received information that an adult male had been shot and left the area in a white Audi. At approximately 0551 hours the white Audi was located in the first block of Valentine Lane. The adult male was deceased inside the vehicle. The incident is under investigation.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 060320, officers responded to an address in the 900 block of Kimbark St on a report of a Protection Order Violation. An adult male was arrested and the case is cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Wednesday 06/03/2020 at 1110 hours a Longmont Police Officer took a report of a violation of protection order which took place in the 1200 block of Pace Street in the city of Longmont. This case is open and sent to the Longmont Police Detective Division for follow up.

DISTURBANCE

On 06/03/2020 (Wednesday) at approximately 1118 hours, Officers responded to the 1100 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard on the report of an adult male who was suffering a mental health crisis. One adult male was taken into protective custody and transported to a local facility for further assessment.

WELFARE CHECK

June 6, 202 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 000 block of Ken Pratt Blvd on a Welfare Check. An adult female was taken into protective custody and transported to Longs Peak Hospital for being a danger to herself due to her intoxication level. The female was also issued a summons for Violation of a Protection Order.

THEFT

On Wednesday, 06/3/20, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 300 Blk. of 9th Ave. The case is under investigation.

WELFARE CHECK

On Wednesday, 06/03/20, Officers responded to the 700 block of 9th Avenue, reference a welfare check on two juvenile females. After further investigation, it was determined one juvenile was a runaway. Child Protective Services was notified and the females were remanded to their custody. Report completed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On June 3, 2020, Officers responded to the 500 block of Main St. on a report of a disturbance. A male party was given a summons for Criminal Mischief, the case is cleared by arrest.

MENACING

On June 3rd, 2020 at approximately 2002 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Main Street Longmont, CO in reference to a felony menacing that just occurred. An adult male was contacted and arrested.

TRESPASS

On Tuesday, 06/02/20, Officers responded to the area of 205 Ken Pratt, behind the Michaels Department Store, for the report of several males trespassing. Upon contact, one male ran from officers and was quickly apprehended. The male was issued a summons and released.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 06/02/2020 at approximately 2309, Longmont Police were dispatched to take report of a domestic violence that occurred in the 1700 block of Princess Dr. A 55 year old female reported a 52 year old male sent her a threatening email. There is not enough evidence to support a crime of domestic violence occurred, and information was gathererd for this report.

INJURY ACCIDENT

Officer responded to the 1500 block of Main for an injury accident. An adult male was the only occupant in the vehicle and was transported to LUH. The adult male was issued a summons for DUI 3rd and other traffic violations.
