AUTO THEFT

A Longmont resident and business owner reported a vehicle stolen by a known suspect.

AUTO THEFT

On March 19, 2019, an auto theft report was received from the 500 block of Main Street. An adult male reported his vehicle was stolen. There is no suspect information. This case is closed.

MITTIMUS ARREST

On 3/19/19 at 1330 hours, a Longmont police officer was assigned a mittimus arrest in the Longmont Municipal Court. An adult male was taken into custody by order of the court. The adult male was sentenced to thirty days in the Boulder County Jail. This case was cleared by arrest.

BURGLARY

On March 19, 2019, a burglary report was received from the 2200 block of 14th Avenue. An adult male reported a maintenance shed was entered and a golf cart was stolen. This case is closed.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

The cyber crimes unit of the Longmont Police Department assisted the Boulder County Sheriff's Office with the investigation of a homicide. All inquiries need to be directed to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.

PROTECTION ORDER

Officers investigated a protection order violation in the 1600 block of Venice Lane. An adult male was arrested.

INFORMATION

On Monday, March 18, 2019, a young juvenile was found walking alone on the 300 block of Wadsworth Circle. Their family was located within a few minutes and no charges are pending. Informational report was completed.

WELFARE CHECK

On 3/18/19, Longmont police responded to the 2100 block of 18th Avenue on the report of a male passed out in a building. Upon contact the male was found to be heavily intoxicated and suicidal. The male was placed into protective custody and transported to Longmont United Hospital on a mental health hold. This case is closed.

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT

On 3/19/19, Longmont police responded to the 1200 block of Milner Lane on a report of a hit-and-run accident involving a parked car. The run vehicle was located at a residence in the area. After an investigation, an adult male was arrested on DUI, restraining order violation, and traffic charges. This case was cleared by arrest.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On 3/19/19 at approximately 0130 hours, officers recovered a vehicle in the 800 block of Delaware Avenue that was stolen out of the Larimer County Sheriff's Office. This case is closed.

BURGLARY

On March 19, 2019 at approximately 0140 hours, Longmont police responded to the 1400 block of South Collyer Street on the report of a burglary in progress. Dispatch advised the suspect a male wearing all black was last seen running south. An adult male was arrested. This case was cleared by arrest.

DISTURBANCE

On Tuesday, 3/19/19 at approximately 0820 hours, officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers observed a juvenile male standing on the second story balcony with a small knife in his hand making threats. Officers were later able to calm the juvenile male down and he was later transported to the hospital. This case is closed.

CHILD

On March 19, 2019, at approximately 093 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to contact a party about a child abuse. Due to jurisdictional issues, the case was forwarded to the appropriate agencies. This case is closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Tuesday, 3/19/19, a report was taken in reference to a criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief which occurred in the 2400 block of 17th Avenue. This case was closed as suspects are unknown.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Monday March 18, 2019, officers opened a protection order violation investigation. This case is open.

CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION

On 3/19/19, Longmont police took a report of a possible ID theft incident which took place in 2016 in the state of Texas. A report was taken and the case will be closed with no leads or suspects at this time.

CHILD

On March 19, 2019, Longmont officers responded to the 2000 block of Glenarbor Court on a call of possible neglect of a male and female juvenile. No concerns were found in the home. This case is closed.
