AUTO THEFT

On March 8, 2019, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard in response to an auto theft. A report was taken and the case is closed due to insufficient suspect leads.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident reported first degree criminal trespass and theft in the 1000 block of South Terry Street. This case was closed due to a lack of suspect information.

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 2500 block of Main Street.

CIVIL

A Longmont resident reported a civil issue in the 2000 block of Pintail Drive. This is a courtesy report.

DISTURBANCE

On Friday, March 8, 2019 at approximately 0300 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded on to a disturbance in the 1800 block of Industrial Circle. An adult female assaulted a Lyft driver and attempted to steal his phone. The female was contacted and taken to Longmont United Hospital where she was released with a summons to a sober party. The case is cleared by arrest via summons.

MISSING PERSON

On Friday, 3/8/19, a report was taken in reference to a missing person. This case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 3/8/19 at approximately 1422 hours, officers were dispatched to a cold domestic incident in the 1400 block of Meeker Drive. An investigation is ongoing.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On March 8, 2019, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 500 block of Main Street on a disturbance. An adult male was arrested for throwing a rock through the window of a business. This case was cleared by arrest.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Friday, 3/8/19 at approximately 2100 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 3200 block of Lake Park Way in response to a disturbance. An adult male was taken into protective custody. This case is closed.

DEATH

On Thursday, March 7, 2019, Longmont police officers assisted in a death investigation of a 60 year-old male located at the 2000 block of Sunset Way. This case is open and referred to the Longmont Police Detective Division.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

On 3/7/19, two dogs met at a fence and one dog was injured. After speaking with both owners the issue is civil.

FRAUD

On Thursday, 3/7/19, Longmont police officers responded to the area of Clover Basin Drive and South Hover Street in reference to a possible fraud. After investigating, officers found the complaint to be unfounded.This case is closed.

DUI

On Thursday, March 7, 2019 at approximately 1736 hours, officers responded to the 1600 block of Main Street on a report of a traffic accident. An adult female was arrested for driving under the influence and careless driving.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Friday, 3/8/19, a report was taken in reference to a criminal mischief which occurred in the 300 block of Quebec Avenue. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

BURGLARY

A Longmont resident reported burglary and theft in the 11000 block of Ute Highway. This case is open.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A Longmont male was bitten by his own cat. The cat was quarantined at home.

THEFT

On Friday, March 8, 2019, officers were called to the 1700 block of Hover Street in response to a theft. An investigation was done and the case is open.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

Animal Control responded to an animal complaint in the 00 block of Bowen Street. The case is still under investigation.
