Longmont Police Report: Oct. 17, 2019

SHOPLIFT

An employee of a Longmont, CO business located in the 1200 block of S. Hover Street reported a theft of merchandise.

THEFT

The Longmont Police Department received a report from an outside agency regarding a theft from a Longmont, CO resident in the 1600 block of Iron Horse Drive.

DRUG VIOLATION

On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at approximately 1504 hours, officers were dispatched on a report of an intoxicated driver in the area of East 5th Avenue and Lashley Street. The vehicle was stopped and it was determined that the driver was not intoxicated.

TRAFFIC STOP

On October 17th, 2019, Officers initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Ken Pratt BLVD and S. Sherman Street. One adult female driver and one adult male passenger were contacted. The driver was issued a citation for traffic related charges. Case cleared by arrest-Summons issued.

THEFT

On 10/16/2019, Longmont officers responded to the 1800 blk of Emery St. reference a theft of a bike. A photo of the bike for sale had been posted on facebook. Officers went to the address of the bike posting and recovered the bike which was returned to the owner.

ASSAULT

On Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at about 2155 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Main Street on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival officers arrested an adult male for assaulting an adult female and damaging property. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail.

ASSAULT

On 10/16/2019, Longmont officers responded to the 700 blk of Clarendon Dr. reference an assault. Case cleared by arrest.

DUI

On October 17th, 2019, Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ken Pratt BLVD and S. Martin Street. One adult male was contacted. He was arrested for DUI related charges.

VICIOUS DOG

On Thursday, 10/17/19, A woman was bitten by a dog at the dog park on St. Vrain and Airport. The owner of the dog is unknown at this time.

DRUG VIOLATION

On 10/17/2019, at approximately 1000 hours, Longmont Police Received a report of drug use in the 600 block of East Mountain View Ave. One juvenile female was arrested without incident.

HARASSMENT

On Thursday, October 17,2019, at approximately 1018 hours, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to handle a phone call with information from Sample Supports on an adult male posting an adult female's name and the area of where she lives on social media. A report was taken.

SEX ASSAULT

On October 17, 2019 at approximately 1355 hours the Longmont Police Department took a report of a possible unlawful sexual contact that occurred in the 1100 Block of Lincoln Street in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, State of Colorado. The case was investigated and is unfounded.

MISSING PERSON

On October 17, 2019 at approximately 1920 hours the Longmont Police Department took a report from a parent of a 16 year old female that ran
away. The juvenile was put into NCIC/CCIC.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On 10/14/2019 (Monday) at approximately 1920 hours, Officers responded to the 500 block of Disk Drive on the report of a suicidal male. The male was later located and taken to a local hospital.

CHILD

On October 16, 2019, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to a runaway juvenile from the 500 block of Kimbark St. A juvenile male was
located.

AUTO THEFT

On 10/17/2019 Officers responded to the 100 block of E. 6th Avenue to a report of a motor vehicle theft. There have been no suspects identified at this time. Case is open.

BURGLARY

On Thursday, October 17, 2019 at about 1800 hours, Officers with the Longmont Police Department were dispatched a name and number
regarding a follow up. I was advised by the Longmont Communications Center (Dispatch) the reporting party wanted to speak to an officer about an additional theft occurring in the 1600 Blk of Great Western Drive, Longmont, CO. No suspect info at this time.
