Longmont traffic closures: Three areas of Longmont will be experiencing traffic closures this weekend

Third Avenue Place between Hover Street and the Golden Ponds parking lot will be closed for asphalt paving on Friday. The construction will prevent access to the Golden Ponds parking lot from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Third Avenue Place will also be fully closed to all traffic except emergency vehicles from noon to 4 p.m. 

Sunshine Avenue between Celestial Lane and CLR#1 also will be closed to traffic from June 4-18. The area is undergoing street intersection improvements. Expect a traffic detour in the area. 

Beginning 7 a.m., Saturday, Boston Avenue between Sunset Street and S. Francis Street will be closed to traffic until 7 p.m. A new sanitary sewer main line will be installed in the area. Local traffic can expect detours around the area.
