On May 2, the Longmont Chamber of Commerce posted a photograph of a tour guide in Kosovo holding a “Proud Longmonster” sticker — a token she received from Longmont Chamber of Commerce CEO Scott Cook when he recently traveled to the southeastern-Europe country. The post highlighted that the stickers were being “proudly” represented halfway across the globe, and that new “Proud Longmonster” stickers are being designed and will be released soon.

Proud Longmonster stickers were first designed by the Longmont Chamber of Commerce in 2018 in an attempt to “recognize the people and businesses that shape our community.” They have been distributed ever since, and there are now 13 current designs of the sticker, with each variation designed by Longmont Chamber of Commerce employee Leah Winkler.

“Since we launched the Proud Longmonster design, it has made its way throughout our community as stickers, hats, pins, and posters,” the Chamber of Commerce said on its website. “Despite the remarkable growth of Longmont’s population, our community continues to maintain its friendly, welcoming, small-town quality. We believe that everyone belongs in Longmont.”
