LUH Foundation welcomes two new board members

Renaldo Leonard and Ryan Mason join foundation "dedicated exclusively to supporting health care services and associates at Longmont United Hospital through philanthropy."

Two new members recently joined the Longmont United Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees.

The new members, announced in a news release this week, are Renaldo Leonard and Ryan Mason.

Leonard, founder and CEO of RL Consulting US, has been a Longmont resident for the eight years, according to the release. A highly recognized sales professional in the automotive industry over the past 20 years, he also has garnered several awards for sales performance, leadership and public speaking, according to the release. 

A graduate of Texas Tech University, Leonard has participated in several community activities and organizations including the Longmont Humane Society, the Longmont Neighborhood Group Leaders  Association and the Boulder County Open Space Partnership Program, according to the release. 

He and his wife, Jenny, are owners of On The Avenue, a full-service salon in Longmont. They have five children ranging in ages from 21 to 27. 

Mason is a Colorado native who was born in Estes Park and attend to middle and high  school in Lafayette. He attended the University of Colorado Denver, where he studied  business administration and political science, according to the release.  

Mason, who has spent his career working in financial services, is president and wealth advisor at financial planning and wealth management firm Vivant Financial Services, according to the release. 

He lives in Longmont with his wife and three young children and in the past 10-plus years has been involved in a number of community efforts including as president of Rotary Club  of Longmont from 2016 to 2017), president of OUR Center Board of Directors from 2017-2019, and president of Boulder County Estate Planning Council this year.
