On Wednesday, November 28, the Longmont Public Forum is hosting a presentation and discussion on the Air Quality monitoring project at Boulder Reservoir.

The presentation will be given by Dr. Detlev Helmig, an associate professor at the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR), University of Colorado Boulder and the lead investigator of the Air Quality monitoring project at Boulder Reservoir.

Afterward, a discussion on "effect of emissions from gas and oil development on air quality in and around Boulder and Longmont. We will also discuss plans to take action to reduce the risk to our air quality at Union Reservoir (potential future source of water) and in our community," stated a press release from Longmont Public Forum.

The 'Is the Air Quality in Longmont at Risk' event will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Front Range Community College, Community Room, 2190 Miller Drive, Longmont, Door C4. To register for this event click here.
