A new traffic signal will be installed starting at about 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, causing delays to drivers in the area.

The signal, located at the intersection of Nelson Road and Disc Drive/Mountain Drive (see map below), will not have a four-way stop function (flashing red) when drivers arrive at the intersection. Instead, crews and traffic control will fully stop traffic once the signal is installed. When the signal is turned on, normal traffic patterns will commence dictated by the new signal. Throughout the installation, the signal will have a functioning pedestrian crossing and walk button.

Please plan travel accordingly to accommodate the installation of this new signal. If you have any questions, contact the Transportation Division.
