ÉKSTASIS Ecstatic Dance Longmont
5p.m.
SOL 19 Yoga, 1350 Ken Pratt Blvd.
We are so happy to bring EKSTASIS to Sol19 for its third iteration and just like a good snowball, the energy is building with each new turn.
Ecstatic Dance Longmont is a sacred community dance where we share in opening a portal to the divine in which our bodies release and move energy, our spirits play and soar, and where a connection to a greater purpose and community can be sensed. The word ecstasy derives from the ancient Greek word EKSTASIS which can be defined as "to stand outside or transcend oneself." For time immemorial, dance has been used as a form of meditation and healing.
DJ Tracy Rose is a part of the Conscious Dance community in Boulder, and is excited to bring you fresh rhythms and high vibe frequencies to stoke your inner flame.
Angela Rose, intuitive and healer, who considers dance as medicine, guides the opening circle in a meditation.
No experience is necessary, only a call from within to shake off what is ready to be unearthed and dissolved.
This is an unscripted, free-flowing dance with only the highest intention to connect you to you, and expand outward to this beautiful community.
We can not wait to see you there. Not waiting three months till the next one, just few short weeks away and wahat... 2023 yes, let's do this and start things off right.
