Family Storytime

A 30-minute Friday fun storytime designed for children of all ages and their grown-ups! This storytime will include longer picture books, so expect a little more sitting and listening. Silly singing and movement will also be included.
We will see you in the Library's Meeting Rooms, located by the West Entrance. No registration is required.

As always when I bring people together I try to support a local cause and charity. This Holiday season there are many people in our community who don't have enough food to eat. That is why I'm asking for you to donate to the Community Food Share this year. Help support hungry people, right here in our community.

Price of the ticket includes 2 craft cocktails, entertainment, food throughout the evening, and 18% gratuity. Additional cocktails will be available for purchase at the bar.

David Michael Boyd is an international artist (18 countries - 19 if you include Texas) and two time first place winner of both the One World Prairie Guitar Contest and the National Veterans Art Festival. David leads a band called "Blues Behind Bars," which plays mostly in prisons in Colorado and beyond. He'll bring a mix of classic blues, songs written with inmates in Colorado and original instrumental pieces and songs.

Choose from an array of pre-cut self-adhesive vinyl decals to make a fun custom mug! This is a fun and easy craft project for kids in 3rd to 5th grade to enjoy. We will provide mugs for you to upcycle or you can choose to bring a mug of your own. Then, take your custom mug home with a package of out signature mug cake mix and enjoy a special treat in your new creation!

LEGO Club for Families

The Library has more than 10,000 LEGO pieces, and at LEGO Club, we get them all out and build! Each time the club meets, we have a different building challenge. We also make a 'shared build' together. Family event- adults and kids build together. Kids younger than 10 years old must be accompanied by someone older than 14 years old dedicated to their care.

Come and color your world with local author Lulu Buck and enjoy a reading of the children's book "Sue's Sky"!
Sue's Sky is a book about acceptance using the gentle metaphor of the sky to encourage kids to accept others' perspectives of the world around them. Parents will receive a resource to support their child in safe spaces, being aware of our bias and anti-bullying.
Kids will get to paint their sky with the author. This will be a fun, hands-on art experience around our identities and based on the book "Sue's Sky".
