Longmont hotel occupancy rates are up halfway through 2023 compared to last year.
The Rocky Mountain Lodging Report from the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association said that in June, 87% of room nights were occupied in Longmont.
Statewide, occupancy in June was at 78.8%, up from 77.4% last year. A higher proportion of Longmont hotel rooms were occupied in June than the proportion of rooms occupied in places like Denver or Estes Park, according to the report.
Through the first six months of the year, rooms have been occupied 66.6% of the time in Longmont. This is up from 64% at the same time last year. Occupancy statewide is at 65.4% through the first half of 2023, up from 63.5% in 2022.
The average daily rate in Longmont was $161.49 per night in June. So far through the year, the average rate has been $118.68, down slightly from rates through the first six months of 2022 at $120.71.
Statewide, the average daily rate in June was $197.39, up from $189.55 in June 2022. Year to date the average rate in Colorado is $188.01.
