Public restrooms are available in most of Longmont's neighborhood parks, community parks and nature areas throughout the warmer months. However, many of these restrooms close each fall, typically on the second Sunday in October, and reopen on the first Friday in April. This is done to prevent damage to above-ground plumbing, which is not designed to withstand winter temperatures. This year these restrooms will close on Sunday, October 15.
