Beginning today, there will be several road closures in the Longmont and Front Range area.
Today, 900 Mountain View Avenue will be closed from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The closure is due to a storm main point repair and will only last for one day. The closure will occur between Lee Way through Cinnamon Street.
On Monday, 102 Bowen Street will be closed due to a sewer service repair to the city tap. The closure will occur between Bowen Street and Alaska Avenue from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. The closure will only be for one day.
On Wednesday, Ninth Avenue at Airport Road will be closed from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. for asphalt rehabilitation. The closure will affect the areas of Ninth Avenue to Hover Street to Airport Road. The street will be closed to all through traffic, local access will be made available at all times from the east of Hover Street. The closure will last one day.
Recent storms have caused Trail Ridge Road to close. The closure affects the east side of the park at Many Parks Curve and on the west side of the park at the Colorado River Trailhead. Rocky’s snowplow operators are encountering one to three feet of snow, and a large boulder falling on the road. The road will reopen when it is safe for vehicles.
