An early morning hit and run crash resulted in a party sustaining serious injuries and investigators are requesting assistance locating the vehicle and driver.
At approximately 6:21 AM a 35 year old male from Loveland, CO, was walking northbound on the paved shoulder of Highway 1 near Shore Road. An unknown vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, onto the shoulder, and collided with the male pedestrian. The vehicle then left the scene in an unknown direction of travel. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Investigators believe the vehicle is a teal or blue-granite pickup or SUV. It will have headlight damage on the front. Anyone with information or footage from the area is encouraged to contact investigators at: 303-239-4501, reference case #3C221847.
