Red-white-and-blue #Strongmont yard signs celebrating the critical work of those on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak in Longmont are popping up all over the city. Money from the sale of the yard signs will help the OUR Center.
The signs were created by PostNet with half of the sales proceeds going to the OUR Center, which works with local agencies in the community to assist those in emergency situations. Food and clothing are among the items provided at the OUR Center, which has been in operation since 1987.
The signs boldly declare “To the real heroes. Thank you for your service to our community.” The signs highlight grocery workers, police and emergency medical personnel.
Longmonsters can purchase a 18-by-24 yard sign for $20 or a double-sided sign for $24. A 24-by-36 banner can be purchased for $30.
