A new record was set by the Longmont Community Foundation, $241,043 was given to 101 local non-profits.

Eric Hozempa, Executive Director of the LCF said it was the largest amount of grants the foundation has given away at their annual breakfast to date.

The turnout was also record-breaking with 300 people signing up for seats at the breakfast.

The range of things funded was broad, but the majority were for basic operating support, something that many nonprofits often find difficult to fund due to their missions coming first.

The entire presentation is included in this video (the Longmont Observer was the media sponsor for this event).

Technical note: Best listened to with headphones. The audio system of the venue was difficult to pick up with our on-camera mics)
