Colorado makes the cut for the 9th annual "Best Looking Cruiser"

As a top 12 finisher, Colorado State Patrol will be featured in the American Association of State Troopers' annual calendar.

Each year the American Association of State Troopers (AAST), holds the "Best Looking Cruiser" contest, setting the stage for a friendly competition between the 50 state police agencies to see who will land in a calendar for the following year.

With the final votes for this year’s contest counted, the Colorado State Patrol is a top 12 finisher and will be included in the 2023 calendar.

“While this is a friendly contest, we can’t help but take pride that our rugged and stylish fleet of patrol vehicles will be represented in 2023,” stated Colonel Matthew C. Packard, chief of the Colorado State Patrol. “Thank you to everyone who voted and put Colorado back into the spotlight.”

The complete list of winners that will be featured in the calendar include:

  • Cover and Month of January - Kentucky State Police
  • February – Tennessee Highway Patrol
  • March – California Highway Patrol
  • April – Georgia State Patrol
  • May – Florida Highway Patrol
  • June – Idaho State Police
  • July -  Alabama State Troopers
  • August – Nebraska State Patrol
  • September – Kansas Highway Patrol
  • October – Colorado State Patrol
  • November – Utah Highway Patrol
  • December – Michigan State Police
  • January 2024 – Ohio State Highway Patrol

The calendar should be on sale around October 1, for $10.00 through www.statetroopers.org. All proceeds go to the American Association of State Troopers Scholarship foundation that benefit educational scholarships for dependents of member troopers.
