Death in the 5100 block of Williams Fork Trail

The cause and manner of death, as well as the identification of the deceased, will be determined by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.

BOULDER COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Boulder County, Colo. - The Boulder County Communications Center received a call at 6:42 a.m., this morning, July 25, to the 5100 block of Williams Fork Trail, in unincorporated Boulder County. The caller indicated that multiple people had just witnessed a male shooting into the air and then shoot himself.

A sheriff’s office deputy arrived on-scene and started CPR until medical personnel arrived. Unfortunately, the male was pronounced deceased a short time later.

At this time, we do not believe the death is suspicious. The cause and manner of death, as well as the identification of the deceased, will be determined by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.

The following agencies responded to the scene: Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Boulder Rural Fire Rescue, and the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.
