On April 20, 2023, East Window Gallery will host a book release party to honor and celebrate the art of Frances Joy Bradbury. The gallery is located at 4550 Broadway, Ste C-3B2 in Boulder, Colorado. This event will highlight the new publication The Art of Frances Joy Bradbury with an in person artist talk featuring the artist.

Bradbury’s art is a reflection of her love of ambiguity, experimentation, gestural line and texture can be seen throughout the artist’s shapeshifting images. As a self taught artist who derives inspiration from a wide range of life experiences, Bradbury has been a fixture in the visual arts community since the 60s. She is best known for her eclectic image making. Her first exhibition opened at the Taos Library in New Mexico. Since then, Bradbury has exhibited at Denver Outsider Art, Fort Collins Center for Fine Art Photography, Front Range Community College, Dairy Center for the Arts, and Boulder Public Library Maker Made Shows.

To celebrate this book release, East Window Gallery is hosting the party from 7-9 p.m. and will feature an artist talk and general Q&A. This is a free event that is open to the public. Those interested in finding out additional details on this event should check the East Window Gallery website.
