LONGMONT STARTUP WEEK

Some of Longmont’s most influential and passionate entrepreneurs, investment advisors, and business leaders will be presenting at this year’s Longmont Startup Week. The speaker lineup and session schedule went live today. 

The virtual event’s theme is Re(Vision) and will take place on July 26th -  30th, from 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day.

This year’s panels and speakers -- filling out the daily themes of Re(Fresh), Re(Calibrate), Re(Imagine), Re(Design), and Re(Vitalize) that focus on topics such as innovation, operations, leadership, creativity, and capital -- include:

  • Brandon Knudson, founder of Ziggi’s Coffee: A fireside chat discussing ways he has navigated change through innovation.
  • Seth Levine of the Foundry Group and author Elizabeth McBride: Developing an Inclusive Entrepreneurial Community.
  • Chris Pearson, CEO of Roccor; Will Francis, chief products officer at Roccor; and Doug Campbell, Roccor’s chairman of the board and founder of Solid Power: From Garage to Acquisition.
  • Murdoc Khaleghi of HealthTech Ventures, Peter Adams of the Pandemic Impact Fund and the Rockies Venture Club, and Judd MacRae from Stateless: How Investors Think, How to Present Yourself and Talk About Your Business, and What Not to Put in a Pitch Deck.

In addition to the remote presentations throughout the week, Startup Week attendees can choose to gather in person to view sessions and network in a “Zoom Room” housed at the Advance Longmont Center at 1925 Pike Road, Suite 202, in Longmont. This is the perfect opportunity to reenter the social world in a safe and fun way, all while gathering new ideas and strategies for your business.

The Times Collaborative, a coworking space located at 338 Main Street, will also host attendees on a drop-in basis to watch presentations and network, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., each day.

There will also be live in-person, end-of-day social events each evening Monday, July 26th through Friday, July 30th.
