The preferred site plan has been developed through refinement of three conceptual options that were presented to the community for feedback in March. The July 13 public meeting will include a presentation followed by a question-and-answer session.

The Fairgrounds Master Plan will guide the evolution of the facility into a far-reaching community-events complex by identifying meaningful ways to continue to serve the community, exploring future upgrades to the facilities, and maintaining a focus on the rural heritage and agricultural focus of Boulder County.

Boulder County and its contractor, Design Workshop, have been leading the master planning process and have already conducted interviews with staff and facility users, hosted focus groups, held two public meetings, and conducted a survey to get to help create the three concepts and select the preferred site plan.
