The Longmont Chorale is proud to announce that Karen Main, our longtime Chorale Accompanist, will take up the role of Chorale Accompanist Emeritus after the last concert of the current season. Main has been an integral part of the organization for almost 40 years, bringing her exceptional musical talent and passion to every rehearsal and performance.
Main's extended time with the Chorale has been marked by her exceptional talent and unwavering devotion to the Chorale's mission and its members. Her skills have been essential to the Chorale's success in numerous performances, including major concerts, special appearances, and collaborations with other area groups and musicians.
During her time with the Longmont Chorale, Main has worked tirelessly to elevate the Chorale's sound and performance quality, earning the respect and admiration of the Chorale members and audiences alike. Her contribution to the Chorale has been immeasurable, and her commitment to the organization is truly remarkable. Her dedication to the organization is exemplified in having only missed two rehearsals over the course of her admirable tenure.
In her new role as Chorale Accompanist Emeritus, Main will continue to be a member of the organization and will remain a valued resource for the Chorale. Her vast knowledge of the Chorale's repertoire and her experience as an accompanist are invaluable to the Chorale and its members.
