Just in time for students and educators to head back to the online learning environment, the Longmont Public Library has announced the availability of a premier learning tool from the Princeton Review company.

Tutor.com is a live, on-demand service providing tutoring, homework help, test preparation and writing assistance for students ranging from kindergarten through adult, as well as adult education and career development support services. It is completely free to library cardholders.

Patrons only need a library card to create a free Tutor.com account. No appointment for tutoring or coaching is needed, and tutors and coaches for all services are available 3 to 10 p.m. each day. Resources are available in English and Spanish, including live Spanish-speaking tutors for some subjects.

Tutor.com provides educational tutoring to students in all grades and at all levels in over 60 subject areas. Students also can use the service’s drop-off reviews, practice quizzes, video lessons and The Princeton Review SAT/ACT Essentials to study anytime.

Tutor.com Adult Learning & Career Center connects lifelong learners with expert tutors and career coaches in an easy-to-use, anonymous online classroom. Patrons can get one-to-one tutoring or job search assistance in over 60 subjects, including GED preparation. They also can use the service’s drop-off reviews, practice quizzes, video lessons and The Princeton Review GMAT, GRE, LSAT and MCAT Practice Tests to study 24/7.

Adults also can connect online with an expert Job Search Coach to receive one-to-one, on-demand assistance with their job search. Tutor.com’s job search experts are available to help navigate online job sites, complete applications, write/review resumes and cover letters and even practice for an interview.

As more and more of our lives move online during the COVID-19 health crisis, the library continues to evaluate services and programs that will best serve our community and help everyone thrive. With Tutor.com, we hope to support students, educators, and lifelong learners during this time.
