Longmont Museum: Discovery Days postponed due to weather

LONGMONT MUSEUM

The Longmont Museum has postponed the return of its Discovery Days program due to inclement weather. 

The museum was set to welcome guests back to Discovery Days on Wednesday, Jan. 18. However, the museum was closed due to inclement weather. As per the museum policy, when the local school division calls off in-person classes, Discovery Days also cancels its in-person classes.

The museum will resume regular hours on Jan. 19.

Discovery Days scholarships

Scholarships are available for Discovery Days thanks to support from the Dodge Family Fund and the Stewart Family Foundation.

Each child who is awarded a scholarship will receive a free 10-pass punch card to be used in Discovery Days classes. Scholarship punch cards can be issued digitally and can be renewed.

Big kid days:

For children up to age 11 on late start or no school days in the SVVSD. Regular fees apply. The program will run Wednesdays on Feb. 1, March 1, April 5, and May 3 at 9 a.m.

There will be no school: Feb. 17 and April 28. Fees per child are $4 for members and $4.50 for non members. The 10-pack punch card is $35 for members or $40 for nonmembers.
