The theme at the Longmont Museum Discovery Days for Oct. 4 to 7 is Rainbows.
Discovery Days is an early childhood program that encourages children ages two to six and their caregivers to engage together in educational, hands-on art, music, and movement activities.
When you attend Discovery Days with your child, you help them cultivate important school-readiness skills, such as language development, attention, concentration, fine motor skills, emotional regulation, and play and social abilities.
- $4 for each child member, $4.50 for each child non-member
- Attend a session that fits your schedule—no registration needed
Discovery Days music and movement
- Tuesdays; Classroom C
- Sept. 13 to Dec. 6
- 9 to 10:15 a.m., 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.
Children and their parents and caregivers can enjoy moving to music together. This week, the instructor, Ms. Emma from Integral Steps, will be bringing an oboe player to these classes.

Discovery Days Art is back in the big classroom AB that we enjoyed most of last spring. This classroom is halfway down the education hall; you'll see the sign.
