NEWS RELEASE
CITY OF LONGMONT
*************************
Child care providers are an essential service to our community. The city recognizes these providers, both licensed and unlicensed, have felt a significant impact from COVID-19. In an effort to understand these impacts and how to best direct relief funds, the City would like to gain additional insight to the challenges that these providers are currently facing as well as potential future challenges. This will help inform a strategic initiative to direct funds where they are most needed.

The city is asking childcare providers to share information to help us gain a deeper understanding of the citywide magnitude of economic losses and financial needs. This will aid in identifying additional resource needs and prepare us as a community to take advantage of and maximize access to additional federal financial resources, as they are made available, both on a short term and long term basis. If you are receiving this email and you are not a child care provider, please feel free to forward this information to any child care providers in Longmont!

Please provide information about your business’s current and future needs using this link: surveymonkey.com/r/ChildCareinLongmont

If you need assistance filling out the survey, please contact Olga Bermudez at (303) 774-3760.
