Summer Concerts are back—and this time you can join us in person! Stretch out and enjoy some tunes, from up-and-coming local bands to established regional and national musicians, in the Museum’s courtyard.

Limited seating; reservations recommended. Lawn chairs and blankets welcome. Alcohol and concessions available for sale (only alcohol purchased on site is allowed).

June 17: Tierro Band with Bridget Law

This World Jam collaboration is a 7-piece live band with hints of electronica. The ethnic flavors of table and sitar spice up the danceable backbeat as guitars and violins intertwine layers of alluring melodies from distant lands.

June 24: Tiffany Christopher

Pushing the boundaries of a traditional singer/songwriter, Tiffany Christopher is a multi-instrumentalist who engages her audience with physicality and musical virtuosity. Her genre ranges from folk-rock and alternative-Americana to hip hop and rhythm and blues.

July 1: 101st Army Dixieland Band

This mirthful military band’s repertoire features music from the beginning of jazz, bringing the hits of Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Jelly Roll Morton and many others. Regular favorites at the legendary Sacramento Jazz Jubilee and Monterey Dixieland Band Bash, these soldiers honor their nation through the most original American art form—Jazz!

July 8: Rusty 44 Band

Representing all four corners of the American land, Rusty 44 is dedicated to spreading the roots of original bluegrass and Americana by performing toe-tapping, feel-good music. Featuring some fiery flat-picking, fiddle playing, and mandolin strumming, Rusty 44 creates a dance-friendly vibe for all.

July 15: Antonio Lopez

Antonio Lopez’s acoustic soul and modern folk sound garners comparison to artists such as Amos Lee and Paul Simon. A sixth generation Coloradan, Antonio has released three albums independently and plays 200 shows a year. Antonio has collaborated with artists such as folk luminaries Don Conoscenti and Daniel Valdez (Santana, Linda Ronstadt).

July 22: After Midnight

Swinging hard since 1997, this extraordinary group of musicians is one of the hottest jazz bands around. Enjoy exciting and danceable hits from the likes of Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Lionel Hampton, Nat King Cole, and Frank Sinatra.

July 29: Foxfeather

A sultry alt-Americana band founded in Boulder in 2013, Foxfeather is a local staple in the Colorado Front Range and also tours nationally. Beginning with a soulful lyrical base, and bolstered by strong blues-rock instrumentals, Foxfeather’s unique sound captivates their audiences.

If you can’t join us in person, you can tune in live via our website, Facebook LIVE, or local Comcast Cable Channel 8/880.
