Colorado Education Association to hold virtual meeting on current state of education

On Tues. Dec. 14, the Colorado Education Association (CEA) will hold a virtual press conference to present the current State of Education in Colorado report and to outline CEA’s 2022 Legislative Priorities.

“The last 21 months have been crushing for our educators and students and there seems to be no end in sight,” said Amie Baca-Oehlert, high school counselor and president of the Colorado Education Association. “Our 39,000 members are ready to stand up and fight for the schools our students and educators deserve. Our voices will be the loudest at the Capitol come January as our students, educators and communities deserve nothing less.”

Questions will be limited to the State of Education report and interviews will be scheduled with Amie for CEA’s 2022 Legislative Priorities the week of Jan. 4 - 7
