Boulder County Road Maintenance will replace two failing minor culverts on Olde Stage Road starting Monday, May 16.

Work is anticipated to take one week to complete, weather permitting.

Olde Stage will be reduced to one-lane in the construction zone during working hours, which are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Expect short delays during working hours as flaggers will be used to move alternating lanes of traffic.

Please use caution in the work zones as the surface will be gravel until asphalt patches can be installed at the end of the week.

A larger Olde Stage Road resurfacing project is anticipated to start in mid-July.

The entire stretch of Olde Stage between Lee Hill Drive and Lefthand Canyon Drive will be resurfaced with a new layer of asphalt.

The new surface will include a four-foot shoulder in the uphill lane of the southern portion of the road up from Lee Hill Drive to provide more room for pedestrians and cyclists. Learn more about that project.
