NEWS RELEASE
BOULDER COUNTY
*************************

Boulder County is seeking feedback from Superior, Louisville, and unincorporated county residents regarding additional wind and fire damaged household items that they would like collected from their property.

In February, Boulder County completed a curbside collection program to assist with proper disposal of Marshall Fire-related damaged goods. The county has heard that there are residents who were unable to participate in the collection event because they were not yet allowed to return home after the fire or had not received approval from their insurance to dispose of items. In order to better understand how much material remains to be collected, the county has developed an online form for providing feedback – www.BoCo.org/Curbside-Collection-Comment.

Details on what is eligible for collection is available in this informational flyer – www.BoCo.org/Curbside-Collection-InfoPlease complete the online form by Wednesday, March 16 to allow time for Boulder County to determine if another round of curbside collection is needed. Another message on the status of the program will be sent out as details are known. Information will also be posted to www.BoCo.org/Marshall-Debris-Cleanup.

Residents seeking to dispose of materials on their own are encouraged to visit Eco-Cycle's website and recycling guide and the Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM) to learn how to recycle many of the items remaining on their property.
