A road condition report received from Longmont Public Works and Natural Resources states that crews have continued to plow the streets overnight, clearing roads and applying chemical treatment to assist with melting and traction.
The snow removal operation will continue throughout the day and into the evening. Currently, the road remain snow packed on lower traffic streets. Collectors and arterial roads have a mix of snow packed surfaces to having wet or slushy conditions.
The forecast for today calls for frigid temperatures, with afternoon highs reaching the low 20’s. Please exercise caution on overpasses, bridges, and at intersections.
