NEWS RELEASE
BOULDER COUNTY

Your voice matters as RTD shares its plan to adjust its service. Since April, RTD has operated under the COVID-19 service plan due to the significant drop in ridership. RTD is proposing to make adjustments to that service plan by adding service to routes which carry a high volume of riders, and decreasing or suspending service on routes with very low ridership.
The public is invited to review and comment on the proposed service changes. Multiple avenues are available to provide input: Through participating in a virtual public meeting, emailing [email protected] or by calling 303-299-2004.
Public comments can be submitted until the end of the day on Oct. 14. The RTD Board will take a final vote on the changes on Oct. 27. The new service plan will go into effect Jan. 10.
Five virtual meetings, open to the public are scheduled:
- Thursday, Oct. 8, noon (in English via Microsoft Teams)
- Saturday, Oct. 10:30 a.m. (in English in Microsoft Teams)
- Monday, Oct. 12, noon (in English via Facebook Live)
- Monday, Oct. 12, 6 p.m. (in Spanish via Microsoft Teams)
For details on how to participate and a complete list of proposed changes, please visit RTD's webpage.
