Please join the Boulder SBDC and the Boulder Office of Arts and Culture for an information session on the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG) on Wednesday, March 31 from 12:00-1:30 pm.

Frances Padilla and J. David Benavides from the Small Business Administration (SBA) and Dan King of the Boulder SBDC will answer your questions about the grant.

Applications for the SVOG open on April 8. This program of the SBA was established by the Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act, and amended by the American Rescue Plan Act. The program includes over $16 billion in grants to shuttered venues, to be administered by SBA’s Office of Disaster Assistance.

Eligible entities include live venue operators or promoters, theatrical producers, live performing arts organization operators, relevant museum operators, zoos and aquariums who meet specific criteria, motion picture theater operators and talent representatives.
