Following on the high interest in the recent Mia Mayhem Spring Break book group, the Longmont Public Library is launching a read aloud mini-series for young children featuring three books starring the indomitable Mia Mayhem.
The series will be held on Wednesday, April 28, Wednesday, May 26, and Wednesday, June 30 from 6 to 7 pm via Webex. Those interested can register online for one or more sessions and will receive information on how to join the Webex program in a confirmation email.
Local children and their adults are invited to join Librarians Kathleen and Valerie for an hour of reading fun and conversation. Librarian Kathleen will start things off by reading a book from the Mia Mayhem series, and afterwards, there will be an age-appropriate and fun book discussion with Librarian Valerie. Planned books are:
- April 28: Mia Mayhem Learns to Fly!
- May 26: Mia Mayhem vs. the Super Bully
- June 30: Mia Mayhem Breaks Down Walls
This program is best for older preschoolers and early school age children who enjoy being read aloud to, but those of all ages are welcome to join in.
