NEWS RELEASE
BOULDER COUNTY
*************************
Since the last Gross Reservoir Community impact Mitigation Fund Advisory Working Group meeting on April 25, several members have been working on potential methodologies and tools that could be used to help determine ways to distribute the mitigation fund.
The purpose of the one-hour meeting on May 8 is to have these working group members present and familiarize the rest of the working group with their tools. There will be a brief discussion from the working group members to provide high-level direction to inform the agenda for the next full-session meeting on May 16.
Community members are invited to observe the one-hour presentation meeting on Monday.

Thanks to all of you who joined us for the community meeting on Saturday!
We had about 40 members of the community join us for an afternoon with the Boulder County Commissioners on Saturday, April 29. Residents were able to ask questions and provide comments to the county commissioners as well as examine maps and environmental analysis from Pinyon Environmental, Inc. during the open house sessions.
Upcoming Meeting Schedule:
- Monday, May 8, from 4:30 - 5:30 (virtual) -- details above
- Tuesday, May 16, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. in person, with a virtual attendee option
- **Save the date** Thursday, June 1, 5:30-8:30 p.m. June 1 is being held as a date for a potential additional/final working group meeting. Details will be forwarded if/when that date is confirmed.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the working group meetings to observe and provide written comments during the meetings. The facilitation team will capture all comments in the meeting summaries. All in-person meetings will be held at the CCCIA community center.
The Boulder County Commissioners welcome your feedback, questions, and comments on the Denver Water Gross Reservoir settlement fund. Here are some ways you can continue to provide feedback:
- Fill out the Gross Reservoir Community survey for your household (if you haven't already done so)
- Use the Pinyon Report comment form to submit your input on the Pinyon Environmental, Inc. report analyzing the air, noise, and visual impacts of Denver Water’s Gross Reservoir Expansion operations (Note: Comments will be shared aggregate with the Gross Reservoir Community Advisory Working Group)
