The City is preparing to launch snow & ice operations on Wednesday, Jan. 18 as a winter storm moves through the area. Snow is expected to start after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, with only about 1 inch of accumulation. However, heavy snow is expected overnight, with new snow accumulation of between 4-8 inches possible. Snow is expected to continue until about 11 a.m. on Wednesday, with another 1-2 inches possible during the day. City crews will be working throughout Tuesday night and Wednesday clearing roads and applying de-icing material as needed. Please prepare, use caution and avoid or limit travel when conditions are hazardous.
