Dear Editor,
When I look at the Longmont mayoral candidates, I am struck by the diversity of people supporting Tim Waters. Tim has well-known Democrats and well-known Republicans and Independents supporting him.

Why is this important? Our community is made up of a wide variety of folks and if they can all agree on Tim Waters for Mayor, perhaps he is the one who can bring our community together. We need someone who will listen and understand all sides of every issue and then base their decisions on solutions that makes the most sense for our entire community.

Tim Waters has the experience to lead Longmont into the future with vision, hard work and empathy. Tim clearly understands the important issues facing the city of Longmont that includes affordable and attainable housing, workforce development, economic growth and sustainability, protecting our environment, and investing in our youth. Please join me in voting for Tim Waters for Mayor. Together we can make Longmont a better place to live.
