Dear Longmont Residents,

The vast majority of us do not vote in municipal and county elections and we can expect the same tendency to occur on our Nov. 2, 2021 election day.  However, since the vote count will be small, these local elections will allow the voter to have more influence over decisions about neighborhood quality of life issues such as paving residential roads, affordable housing choices, public transportation and educational choices for our children.  Our elected local leaders will chart a course for our city with which we agree or not, so it’s important to make our voices known by voting with our hearts and minds in balance.  With a generous and optimistic spirit, we can envision a brighter and more equitable future in our municipalities, counties, state and our nation.  Please vote!
