Councilmember Joan Peck asked the hard questions and stood up for the people of Longmont, when her opponent wanted to allow developers to create their own special metro taxing districts here. I attended city council meetings where I saw his developer buddies try to convince the city council that they would create wonderful things here if they could have their own special taxing ability. In many other communities where developers have been given that power many homeowners have been stuck with paying developers lots of extra taxes with little control over where those taxes actually go. Councilmember Joan Peck understands this and has voted against this practice for our community.  As our Mayor, I believe Joan Peck will continue to ask the hard questions and stand up for the people of Longmont.

As members of our city council, I believe that Aren Rodriquez and Shiquita Yarbrough will also stay in touch with the average people of Longmont and stand up for them!

Please vote for Sarah Hurianek and Meosha Brooks for Our school board.  We Need good people like them who will work to help our students and teachers.

Please vote No on Propositions 119 and 120 and Amendment 78!
