Docket LU-19-0014 / SPR-19-0032: Berg - Historic Accessory Dwelling 
Unit and New Residence; Limited Impact Special Use Review to establish 
a Historic Accessory Dwelling Use in an existing 3,884-square-foot 
residence, and Site Plan Review to add a new 6,465-square-foot residence 
on a 3.82-acre parcel; submitted by Gary Berg; in accordance with the 
Boulder County Land Use Code. The proposed project is in the Estate 
Residential (ER) Zoning District, at 175 Bellevue Drive, roughly 140 feet 
west of the intersection of Bellevue Drive and King Avenue, in Section 6, 
Township 1S, Range 70W.

Parking Lot for artist and sponsor parking for the Pearl Street Arts

2.   Board of County Commissioners: 
The Downtown Boulder Foundation is requesting to use the Courthouse Lawn 
for the annual Pearl Street Arts Fest on July 19 from 3-8 p.m., July 20 
from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and July 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The lawn area 
will be used for a picnic and open space to host art activities.

COMMISSIONERS' DISCUSSION ITEMS 
14.  Land Use Department: 
Authorization to Pursue Text Amendments to the Boulder County 
Land Use Code Staff requests Board authorization to pursue text 
amendments to the Land Use Code related to three separate topics: 
1. Clarifications for Lot Mergers and Treatment of Townsites 
    Relative to Definition of Subdivided Land; 
2. Environmental Resources and Development Impacts; 
3. Lodging Uses: Short Term Rentals and Bed and Breakfast Staff 
has done preliminary scoping for each of these topics and found 
that amendments are necessary to achieve the goals of the Boulder 
County Comprehensive Plan and clarify the intent of the Boulder 
County Land Use Code.

COMMISSIONERS' MATTERS

15.  Administrative Services Department: 
Ratification of the Chair's 6/27/19 e-signature on a contract 
amendment with Deloitte Consulting LLP. The amendment is to 
modify the statement of work for Deloitte support through July 
31, 2019 (additional $74,428, for a new contract total of 
$5,114,277).

16.  Commissioners’ Office: 
Resolution 2019-58 appropriating additional sums of money to 
defray expenses in excess of amounts budgeted for the County 
of Boulder.

AUTHORIZATION FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION
17.  Commissioners’ Office: 
Authorization for the Board to go into Executive Session at

BOARD OF EQUALIZATION 
18.  Board of Equalization: 
Approval of the proposed settlement of the 2018 Board of Assessment 
Appeals Petition for Lookout Road Apartments LLC (BAA 75263). The 
property is valued at more than $10,000,000 by the Assessor or BOE 
and the BAA settlement would result in a 10% or greater reduction.
