The Boulder County Elections Division announces that the date for the Logic and Accuracy Test will be Tuesday, October 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Ballot Processing Center, located at 1750 33rd St., Boulder. These tests are being run for the 2018 General Election.

According to the Boulder County Elections Division, "The test ensures equipment properly tabulates votes. Each type of ballot and all ballot styles will be tested to make sure ballots are properly printed and to verify the scanning equipment properly reads ballots. The test will also confirm that scanning equipment settings are properly calibrated for the ballots."

Following the October 9 test, testing will commence each day during the same hours until it is completed. Currently, Wednesday, October 10 and Thursday, October 11 are scheduled for testing.

On Friday October 12, the Test Board anticipates having the results, signing-off, resetting and resealing the equipment. The documentation and results of the tests will be available online at www.BoulderCountyVotes.org.

The testing process is open to the public. Visitors are required to check in at the Elections Office, Ste. 200 and will be escorted to the testing area.
