The statistics below were published by the CDPHE on April 12th for April 11th and before for Boulder, Weld, and Larimer Counties.

Cases in the table and graph above include people who had a positive lab test and cases which public health identified and determined were likely to have COVID-19 because of their symptoms and close contact with someone who tested positive. The number of untested cases included in the total case count is a very small portion of the total cases reported.

The CDPHE publishes statistics daily by about 4:00 PM. Each daily update includes cases reported through the previous day. Infection and mortality reports may take a day or two to reach the CDPHE and to then be verified and published.

County rates per 100,000 are calculated using 2018 population estimates from the Demography Section, Colorado Division of Local Government.

Boulder County Public Health publishes statistics which include the number of people hospitalized and the number who have recovered in Boulder County.

Boulder County Public Health Director Jeff Zayach says:

"In the next couple weeks, it is likely that there will be a rapid increase in the number of people in our community who test positive for the new coronavirus (COVID-19), including people who require hospital care for the illness. Now more than ever, it is vital that we all follow the Colorado Public Health order and stay at home as much as possible. The more we stay home, the more successful we will be at stopping the virus from spreading and causing illness and death in our community.

"If you do need to go out, be very sure to stay at least 6 feet away from others who do not live in your household, and wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds as soon as you get home. It is also very important to continue keeping your home clean and disinfected according to the CDC guidelines.

"Thank you for your commitment to the health and safety of our community. We will get through this – 6 feet apart, but together!"
