On Jan 1, RTD increased their fare rates, but made a few important changes at the same time. Riders can now purchase a 3-Hour Pass, which replaced the 3-hour one-way transfer.

This means that if you can complete your trip within 3 hours, you only need to buy one bus pass. RTD has also increased the discount offered to riders between the ages of 6 and 19 to 70%. Up to 3 children 5 and younger can ride for free when they are with an adult who has purchased a bus pass.

Sign up for a financial counseling appointment to be eligible to receive a $50 RTD MyRide Card and a 1-Year bCycle Bike Share Membership. MyRide is a stored value bus fare card, so that’s $50 of bus fare and you learn how to budget and set financial goals!

Bilingual counselors are available.

RTD MyRide Cards offer a convenient and flexible way to pay your fare
on the bus. You just tap your card when boarding the bus or train and
you automatically receive a $0.20 discount on full fare, and a $0.10
discount for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and Medicare
recipients.
You can add money to your MyRide card online, at RTD sales outlets, or at some King Soopers and Safeway stores. For more information on RTD MyRide Cards, please visit the RTD website
