The Firehouse Art Center is competing for funding in a Colorado Humanities social media challenge and is seeking support from the Longmont community.

The CH CARES Humanities Relief Grant Social Media Challenge will award grants to 10 organizations using  $30,000 in federal CARES Act funding.

“There are a lot of larger organizations competing for the funding, and we are tiny compared to them, but since COVID closure has really messed with our mojo, this money would mean a lot,” the center stated in its July newsletter. “All you have to do is like the post. Sharing and commenting are extra votes, so those would be appreciated as well.”
