Longmont Baseball League kicks off its 50 year celebration with Spring Training Clinics

Longmont, CO – This year marks 50 years of youth baseball in Longmont. Established in 1968, the Longmont Baseball League (LBL) will kick off its celebration with Spring Training Clinics.

Longmont, CO – This year marks 50 years of youth baseball in Longmont. Established in 1968, the Longmont Baseball League (LBL) will kick off its celebration with Spring Training Clinics.

Spring Training Clinics will be held at Sandstone Ranch on Saturday, March 24 and Saturday, March 31 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. These trainings launch a season-long skill development curriculum based on the principles of becoming a five-tool player.  All clinics are free to LBL players registered for the 2018 season.

Calling all past players:

On July 11, the LBL will introduce a Legacy Team, comprised of former LBL players and coaches, honoring all past players at its annual All-Star Game.  The LBL is currently seeking players and coaches who have participated in the league throughout its history.  If you have participated in the LBL, please contact [email protected] or call 720-684-6286.  Share your memories of playing baseball and how those lessons learned have impacted your life.

LBL is the region’s premier youth baseball league serving families in the St. Vrain Valley School District boundaries and surrounding communities. The affordable opportunity welcomes all skill levels, offering both recreational and competitive (travel) team options for youth ages 5 – 17.
