In April, 2018, sought art submissions from local artist who wished to have their art displayed on local switchgear boxes throughout Longmont.
The deadline for art submissions has passed but now Art in Public Places and Longmont Power & Communications is seeking community feedback on the designs to be selected and help choosing which boxes receive the art.
For those who are interested in viewing and submitting their opinion, the art is on display at the Longmont Museum, located at 400 Quail Rd., Longmont. There are 32 art submissions available to vote on.
Voting will end on June 13, 2018 at noon.
Art in Public Places is still taking submissions for switchgear boxes that "could use some color," says Lauren Greenfield of Art in Public Places. To make a suggestion of one of these boxes, you should submit the location, your name and phone number to [email protected].
