The City of Longmont is currently updating the Land Development Code (LDC) to reflect the community's vision for future growth, as described in the recently adopted Envision Longmont Multimodal & Comprehensive Plan. The City is interested in feedback from residents, business owners and other community stakeholders. The project team recently released a public working draft of the zoning districts and use regulations sections of the code. This working draft is available for comment on-line at: http://bit.ly/developmentcodeupdate.

The Survey includes questions such as:

Do you support allowing accessory dwelling units (ADUs) in your neighborhood?

What form should the ADUs take?

Should plumbing be allowed for home offices and workshops?

Should duplexes and triplexes be allowed in single-family neighborhoods?

Should small-scale commercial uses such as retail, restaurant, and offices be allowed in your neighborhood?

How should we allow transitioning between zones (from commercial to residential)?

What uses should be allowed in your neighborhood?

Should we support heavy industry zones (intensive manufacturing, salvage yards, rendering, etc.)?
